Our Boston based CPG client is looking for a Copyeditor with 2+ years' experience for an immediate long term contract.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with other members of the Copy team to review: manuals, packaging, displays, emails, social posts, and banner ads for spelling, grammar, consistency, clarity, style, and brand voice
- Edit and proofread written content for accuracy, grammar, spelling, punctuation, and syntax.
- Work across multiple creative teams to ensure copy is clear and accurate
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and evolving editing techniques.
- Offer copy suggestions when necessary
Qualifications
- 3+ years of related work experience—internal or external agency experience preferred--specifically experience proofing, editing and a strong grasp of grammer is a must for this role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Previous experience in the CPG/retail space is a plus
- Any bilingual skills (French Canadian, Brazilian Portuguese, or a dialect of LATAM Spanish) would be a bonus
