Specific duties will include:
- Troubleshooting system and network problems, setting up hardware and software, maintaining network security, and supporting users.
- The role demands a proactive approach to monitoring system performance, managing configurations, and implementing system updates or patches.
- Collaboration with IT team members and providing technical guidance to junior staff are also key aspects of this position.
- Manage employee onboarding and offboarding process.
- Set up and maintain networking and virtual environments.
- Manage the reliability and configuration of computer systems, servers, and virtualization.
- Upgrade computer hardware/software, oversee virtual servers, and enforce best practices for OS and hardware management.
- Provide technical specifications for IT projects and maintain system administration policies and training.
- Oversee disaster recovery systems in line with business needs.
Key things to note:
- This hybrid role will be onsite a couple days per week at the Raleigh Office.
- The IT team is available to users on a 24/7 basis. This Administrator will participate in an on-call rotation
Requirements include 3+ years of system administration hands-on experience with the following technologies is strongly preferred:
- Windows Operating Systems (server and client), Office 365, VMWare, Identity Management, Windows Operating Systems, Cisco Networking, Phone system, VPN, Multifactor authentication, Endpoint protection, Cloud infrastructure.
