Job Summary:
The Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing network infrastructure, with a focus on Extreme Networks and CATO SASE solutions. This role includes advanced network configuration and troubleshooting to ensure high availability and security.
Key Responsibilities:
-Configure and manage Extreme Networks switches and access points.
-Set up and configure CATO SASE solutions for secure network access and traffic management.
-Perform advanced network configuration, including VLANs, routing, and firewall rules.
-Monitor network performance and optimize for efficiency and reliability.
-Troubleshoot network issues and provide timely resolutions.
-Document network configurations and maintain accurate records.
-Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, quality, manufacturing, and within IT, to ensure that our Eng solutions effectively support our product development and lifecycle management needs.
-Apply technical and managerial skills to manage an area of responsibility, while managing the budget and cost-effectiveness.
-Establish and maintain positive global business relationships throughout the business community.
Qualifications and Education:
-Bachelor's degree in Network Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Certifications in networking (such as CCNA, CCNP) are a plus.
-Experience with Extreme Networks switch and AP setup and configuration.
-Experience with configuring ExtremeCloud IQ environments.
-Proficiency in CATO SASE setup and configuration.
-Strong understanding of advanced network configurations, including security protocols.
-Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
