Our client is looking for a QA Engineer to join their team! This role ensures high-quality software delivery by planning, implementing, and delivering automated and manual quality assurance tests. Responsibilities include developing test plans, creating test cases, writing test automation code, and reporting results and defects. This position will work within a delivery team to determine the best approaches to test and collaborate with the Product Owner and the entire delivery team to ensure the quality of the developed solutions meets business needs.
Top skills you need to have:
- Proficient with automated testing tools.
- Proficient with test management tools such as Quality Center, Selenium, Test Complete, and Zephyr.
- Successful track record translating business requirements and technical specifications into test plans
- Knowledge of agile practices and experience with agile planning tools
- Proven understanding of Scrum processes
- Ability to communicate well and make effective presentations
- Working knowledge of diagramming techniques such as Functional Decomposition, Data Flows, Activity Diagrams
- Proficient with scripting languages such as JavaScript or similar
- Insurance industry experience a plus
