Flowtec is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support, develop, and improve manufacturing processes and procedures. The engineer will work closely with other engineers, designers, and project managers to ensure designs meet required specifications and are completed on time and within budget.
Location:
- Candidates must be willing to relocate to Minden, Nevada to be considered

Requirements:
- This position will involve evaluation of mechanical and occasionally electromechanical systems and products by designing and conducting research programs and applying principles of mechanics, hydraulics, and materials
- Confirm system and product capabilities by designing testing methods
- Develop products by studying customer requirements; researching and testing manufacturing and assembly methods and materials; and soliciting observations from users
- Develop manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment for fabricating, building, assembling, and installing components
- Assure system and product quality by designing testing methods; testing finished-product capabilities; and confirming fabrication, assembly, and installation processes
- Provide engineering information by answering questions and requests.
- Maintain product and company reputation by complying with government regulations and industry standards
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, participating in professional societies
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is a MUST
- Water/Wastewater background is a MUST
- Foundry and structural stress familiarity
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain licensure within 12-24 months of hire
- Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certified
- Strong project management background
