⚡ Role: Vice President of Project Development

Storm4 is partnered with a leading IPP focused on utility scale renewable development that is looking to add to their leadership team with a VP of Project Development that would report to the CDO. Previous utility scale development of BESS or solar is required for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and implement the company’s greenfield development strategy, across all facets of project development, with a primary emphasis on permitting activities for solar and energy storage.
- Establish and maintain relationships with regulatory authorities, local communities, and other key stakeholders to facilitate the progression and de-risking of the portfolio.
- Ensure project development activities align with the organizations strategy and goals.
- Oversee and take full ownership of the project development process: identify, evaluate, and execute opportunities to drive the growth of the project pipeline.
- Lead critical land contract decisions and participate in negotiations with landowners, managing all aspects of a project or transaction as necessary.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in engineering, business or related field - masters preferred.
- 10+ years experience in the renewable solar industry, with 5 years in a management position.
- In-depth knowledge of the greenfield project development process, in the US market.
- Demonstrated and the ability to lead high performing teams.
