Role: Network Data Engineer
Location: Princeton, NJ
Essential Skill:
Cisco routing & Switching ( primary) + AWS , Fortigate, Infoblox / Cisco ACI ( secondary)
- Minimum CCNP with enterprise level experience min 5 years.
- Extensive knowledge on the below technologies:
- Layer 2 – VLANs , SPT ,PortChannels ,vPC, MAC
- Layer 3 – OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, VRF’s, DMZ
- Wireless – Centralized Wireless, Certificates, BYOD, ISE
- WAN – MPLS, SDWAN and IWAN
- Management - SNMP, Fortimonitor, QoS, NetFlow, AAA/TACACS
- Architecture – Collapsed Core, Leaf and Spine, Application flows
- Cloud concepts and architecture ( L3), VPC, TGW, Route53
- ACI experience, creating new tenants, bridge domains, VRF’s, EPG’s AAEP’s – restoring fabric configurations.
- Any additional experience of load balancers, firewalls, proxy.
- Assist the customer with any design requirements and assist where required with project related activities.
- To attend Wipro and customers call to support P1/P0 and Crisis incidents (including RCA and Problems management calls)
- Drive the MIM team towards triage and lead from the network team
- Interpersonal skills communication, flexibility, self-driven, team player
- Create, review, maintain operational documentation and provide training on new procedures to lower level support teams
- Responsible for day to day service delivery and systems performance review.
- Good analytical /problem-solving skills and self motivated.
- Guide and mentor team members on new technologies being used in the project.
- Ability to participate in an on-call rotational schedule for after-hours support.
“Expected annual pay for this role ranges from $60,000 to $13000. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.”
