GM for HVAC / Plumbing Residential Services Firm - Cape Cod MA

Position Overview
The General Manager will oversee 2 locations - Yarmouth and Falmouth. Reporting to the VP of Operations for Massachusetts - the GM serves as the nucleus for operational decision-making at this these 2 locations and will support the successful operations and growth of the business by managing and overseeing all aspects of the company’s day-to-day operations.
The GM will be responsible for leveraging strong leadership skills in a medium-sized business environment - intelligence, people skills, and cost consciousness are critical. This position will oversee all department managers including Customer Service, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Service, and Sales while maintaining overall responsibility for the team of technicians, the fleet, and all subcontractors.

Key Criteria for the Successful Candidate
- Proven experience in HVAC, Plumbing, or similar trade services with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial role.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Proficient in budget management and financial analysis.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Proven success managing/leading in a small-medium sized business environment with $10-15M of annual revenue.
- Familiarity with basic software and knowledge of fleet dispatch and logistics is a plus
- Be proficient using a computer and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
