TITLE:
DIRECTOR OF PURCHASING
ABOUT THE JOB:
Seeking candidates for a DIRECTOR OF PURCHASING role for a construction company. You will be responsible for overseeing operations that cover procurement, project management, cost control and revenue. The focus of the position is on aligning procurement and project management with the goal of delivering a high-quality product on time and within budget.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in construction particularly oversight in purchasing and experience in a Director role.
- Experience in all aspects of Purchasing of raw materials particularly in construction.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other construction-related software
- Experience with scheduling/mapping out construction plans from start to finish as well as construction techniques, contracts, bid analysis, etc.
- Must be proficient in technical/organizational and time management skills.
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Supply Chain/Construction Management.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills, active listening skills.
