Purpose of role:
As a Design Manufacturing Engineering Leader, you will play a key part within project teams to define, implement, and ensure the best manufacturing processes are used while adhering to safety, quality, and cost objectives.
Candidate Responsibilities:
- Launching assembly equipment
- Planning out capital for new launch projects
- Purchase and implement tooling
- Work closely with various stakeholders such as project managers, business development managers, customers, and suppliers
Candidate Qualifications:
- 5-10 years in a Manufacturing Engineering role within an automotive environment (OEM, Supplier, etc)
- Experience with equipment design and development
- Experience with tasks related to PFMEA.
- Cell layout and integration experience
Preferred experience:
- Six Sigma Green Belt Certification
- Controls / PLC programming knowledge
- Plastics injection molding experience
