Position Summary:
Join our dynamic team as a Region Sales Engineer. This role involves generating sales revenues, project lead generation. You'll be at the forefront of sales, promotion, and technical assistance for our proprietary systems in the industrial, commercial, and DOT markets.
Responsibilities:
- Implement engineering/bid strategies to close business and qualify proprietary systems.
- Generate sales leads, manage key projects, and provide regular project status reports.
- Achieve revenue goals for the region through winning proposals and solutions.
- Promote technology transfer and develop accounts for the implementation of solutions.
- Provide value to project teams through cost-effective geotechnical solutions using our technologies.
- Develop project opportunities and coordinate interactions between different stakeholders.
- Communicate local competitive activities and assist in developing pricing strategies.
- Review project information, perform project evaluations, and develop preliminary designs.
- Prepare proposals, work with estimators, and participate in project meetings and site activities.
- Review detailed design submittals and provide engineering support during field construction.
- Prepare project close-out submittals and sign and seal project design submittals.
Measurements for Success:
- Meet financial goals for Region and Area Sales (revenue) compared to budget.
- Timely and accurate communication of field activities and reporting of key projects.
- Success in high-level, high-revenue projects.
Education/Qualifications:
- 4+ years of geotechnical experience with engineering and sales skills.
- BS in Civil Engineering required, MS in geotechnical engineering preferred.
- Professional Engineering licensure in IN.
- Good understanding of soil mechanics and geotechnical construction.
