Looking for candidates with 4-5 years experience as a SysAdmin with a blend of experience between on prem and cloud administration. Someone with a windows background but also understands Linux and can handle patching and upgrades between the two. PowerShell is ideal and any familiarity with Bash, c-shell or Korn shell would be a nice to have.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, and/or equivalent work experience.
- 5-10 years work experience in IT systems operations and support, with a focus on Windows and Linux systems administration.
- 5-10 years work experience deploying and managing servers and business applications in on-premise and Microsoft Azure cloud environments.
- Familiarity with PowerShell, SQL, and Linux shells/scripting CSH, KSH, BASH, SED, AWK.
- 3-5 years work experience support Exchange Online and M365.
- 3-5 years experience with SQL Server database administration.
- 3-5 years serving as project manager or key participant.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with security best practices and remediation techniques.
- Familiarity with basic LAN/WAN networking concepts.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
