Job Summary:
As a Lead Installation Technician at Relevant Audio Visual Inc., you will head our installations department, focusing on commercial audiovisual projects. This role demands a proactive approach, excellent technical skills in AV systems, and a strong background in system design and project management. You will lead and build a team dedicated to delivering superior installation services while ensuring client satisfaction and adherence to industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform installations of complex audiovisual systems at various commercial sites throughout our region.
- Design and configure AV systems according to client specifications and best practices.
- Manage/Supervise on-site teams, ensuring efficient execution of projects from inception through completion.
- Engage in rigorous testing and troubleshooting, ensuring systems meet operational standards and client needs.
- Provide detailed project documentation and maintain high safety and quality standards.
- Train team members on new technologies and installation techniques.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client interactions during installation projects, ensuring all client queries and concerns are addressed promptly and professionally.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in audiovisual system installations and design, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong technical knowledge of AV systems design and integration.
- Technical skills & know how in terminating low voltage audio, video, and lighting cabling.
- Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex projects under tight deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Relevant technical certifications (e.g., AVIXA CTS, QSYS, Crestron, OSHA 10, Forklift Operation) are preferred.
- Ability to travel and work flexible hours, including occasional weekends.
- A valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
Compensation:
- Competitive rate based on experience and skillset, with overtime compensation and per diem for travel. $23/HR - $40/HR + Benefits
- Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, IRA, and generous paid time off.
Schedule:
- Mon.-Fri. 8-5 / Some weekends and after hours work may be required.
