About this Role:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team and help ensure the security of our organization’s system, networks, and data. As a Cybersecurity Engineer, you will play a critical role in implementation and maintenance of our security measure and controls.
Key Responsibilities:
•Recommend, implement and maintain security measures to protect computer systems, networks, and data.
•Develop and maintain cybersecurity control implementation procedures and other related documentation.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security best practices are being followed.
•Stay up to date with the latest cybersecurity trends, technologies, and threats.
•Provide guidance and counsel to peers and leadership on implementation strategies.
•Participate in incident response planning and implementation.
Assist in the testing and evaluation of security controls prior to implementation
Qualifications:
·4+ years of relevant work experience in a security organization.
·Strong understanding of cybersecurity principals, technologies, and best practices.
·Experience with security tools and technologies.
·Knowledge of network protocols and operating systems.
·Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
·Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively.
·Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.
·Relevant certifications such as CCNA or CCNP-Security, GIAC, CCSP, etc. are highly desirable.
