Currently we are seeking an individual to join our legal team as Corporate Counsel toprovide on-site legal guidance in both the corporate and business areas with a focus on corporate, commercial, compliance and dispute resolution matters.
Additional accountabilities under the direction of the Legal Director, include supporting activities related to corporate governance, litigation, compliance and other legal matters arising within the Company and its affiliates.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides internal customer-focused support and advice with matters of any kind that arise within the legal and compliance landscape in consultation with the Legal Director and/or subject matter experts.
- Ensures continuity of service by responding timely to questions/issues related to contracts and legal matters.
- Provides daily support to all internal customers by drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a broad array of routine-to-complex contractual and transitional matters.
- Conduct legal research.
- Manages outside legal counsel to ensure high-value, cost-effective representation.
- Manages the Company’s contract processes; maintains standard boilerplate/template agreements for company-wide usage.
- Reviews contracts in accordance with internal review guidelines and policies.
- Coordinates with affiliates overseas for various legal projects.
- Assists with the creation, implementation, and enhancement of processes, policies, and tools that are in place and create new ones where needed.
- Conducts periodic employee training on relevant legal issues.
- Assists in matters related to corporate governance and any other legal matters.
- Supports company and affiliates in meeting regulatory requirements.
- Fosters a diverse and inclusive corporate culture.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
Experience, Knowledge & Education
- U.S. law degree (J.D.) required and active bar membership.
- Five (5) to Eight (8) years of experience in a law firm or corporate legal department with primary emphasis on corporate, employment, transactional, general business, commercial intellectual property, and/or product liability law.
- Licensed (or able to become licensed) to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
- Experience with the marketing, sale, and distribution of consumer products and services preferred.
- Experience working in a multi-national organization is highly desirable.
- Clerkship a plus.

- Proficient MS Office suite of products.
- Familiarity with electronic signature technology.

- Language: Proficiency in Chinese Mandarin is a plus
