Atlantic Refrigeration has been servicing our clients in South Florida since 1962 and we are seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Refrigeration Field Manager to join our team. You will be responsible for overseeing Service Technicians and PM Technicians who are installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, ice making equipment and refrigeration systems in country clubs and other high end commercial and residential settings. This is a full-time position with opportunities for career growth and advancement.
What we’ll trust you with:
You will serve as both a mentor to our group of field service and preventive maintenance technicians and a brand ambassador for our high-end commercial air conditioning and heating clients. In addition to troubleshooting and offering technical support, you will also:
- Help manage customer accounts while ensuring that problems are resolved, and that work is completed accurately and efficiently
- Coordinate field technician training and development on products, services, sales, and industry-related updates
- Work closely with customers to respond to warranty-related issues, providing guidance and technical expertise
- Collaborate with dispatchers and other service technicians
- Recruit, interview, and hire experienced service technicians
- Manage performance of Service Technicians and Preventive Maintenance Technicians
- Monitor metrics for improvement opportunities
What matters most for this role:
- 5+ years of industry experience in commercial refrigeration and managing others
- Strong and in-depth knowledge and understanding of HVAC and refrigeration systems
- Ability to motivate, manage, and train technicians, installers, and dispatchers
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Computer proficiency with working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and ServiceTitan is helpful
- Independent thinker and self-motivated
