We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Bilingual Admissions Recruiter who is fluent in both English and Spanish to join our admissions team. In this role, you will be instrumental in identifying, attracting, and recruiting talented individuals to our institution. Your ability to communicate effectively in both languages will be crucial in expanding our outreach efforts and ensuring a diverse pool of applicants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment & Outreach: Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract a diverse group of prospective students. Conduct outreach through various channels including high school visits, college fairs, community events, and online platforms.
- Counseling & Support: Provide personalized guidance and support to prospective students and their families throughout the application process. Answer inquiries in both English and Spanish, and assist with application completion, financial aid, and scholarship information.
- Communication: Create and deliver presentations in both English and Spanish to prospective students, parents, and educational partners. Prepare and distribute marketing materials and information in both languages to ensure accessibility and engagement.
- Relationship Building: Foster and maintain strong relationships with high school counselors, community organizations, and educational partners to promote our institution and increase enrollment.
- Data Management: Track and analyze recruitment metrics, maintain accurate records of interactions with prospective students, and report on recruitment progress and outcomes.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the admissions team and other departments to align recruitment efforts with institutional goals and initiatives. Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of recruitment strategies.
- Event Coordination: Plan and organize recruitment events such as open houses, information sessions, and campus tours, ensuring that all materials and communications are available in both English and Spanish.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Education, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: 6+ months of previous experience working for a University within their recruitment, admissions, or a related area is desirable.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English and Spanish.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills in both languages.
- Cultural Competency: Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse populations and understand cultural nuances.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM systems or recruitment software is a plus.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
