The hourly rate is $60 to $70 per hour
As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to manage and troubleshoot network systems, incorporating a range of hardware and technologies to meet the needs of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Network Design & Implementation: Develop and deploy network solutions using Nexus 9K, 6K, and 5K switches, Catalyst 9K, 6K, and 4K switches, as well as Fabric Extenders.
- Configuration & Management: Configure and manage Integrated Services Routers (ISRs) to support diverse network environments and ensure high availability.
- Troubleshooting & Optimization: Diagnose and resolve network issues promptly, utilizing your expertise with Cisco Nexus and Catalyst series switches to optimize network performance.
- Monitoring & Reporting: Implement and maintain network monitoring tools to track performance, identify potential issues, and generate detailed reports.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
- Collaboration: Work with other IT professionals and departments to support network-related projects and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Security: Implement network security measures to safeguard data and ensure compliance with best practices and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Hands-on experience with Cisco networking equipment, including Nexus 9K, 6K, 5K, Catalyst 9K, 6K, and 4K switches, Fabric Extenders, and ISRs.
- Certifications: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or higher, such as Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE), is preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in network design, configuration, and troubleshooting; strong understanding of networking protocols and technologies; hands-on experience with network management tools and systems.
