We are seeking a highly skilled technical Calibration engineer with a strong foundation in physics and extensive experience in manipulating automotive-grade ultrasonic sensor settings. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in achieving precise detection goals by calibrating and fine-tuning ultrasonic sensors within the automotive domain.
Responsibilities:
- Calibrate and optimize ultrasonic sensors to meet specific detection targets within automotive systems.
- Develop and implement testing procedures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of sensor outputs.
- Analyze and interpret data generated by ultrasonic sensors, addressing any discrepancies or calibration issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ultrasonic sensor systems into automotive applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges related to sensor calibration, performance, and data interpretation.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, specifically ISO standards for automotive ultrasonics, to ensure compliance and best practices.
- Document calibration processes, findings, and improvements for future reference and continual enhancement of sensor performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of ultrasonic sensor technology principles and functionality, with a focus on automotive applications.
- Experience in calibration, particularly with respect to temperature variation in automotive environments.
- Proficiency in signal processing techniques for accurate calibration and data interpretation.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to troubleshoot sensor calibration and performance issues.
- Experience in setting up controlled testing environments for precise sensor calibration.
- Familiarity with ISO standards related to automotive ultrasonic features and the ability to apply these standards effectively.
