Installation, configuration, maintenance, and service of security (such as burglar alarms, cameras, and access control) and entertainment systems (such as home theater, hardwired network, Wi-Fi distribution, and distributed audio) for homes and businesses.
We are problem solvers with a "make it happen attitude." We can be flexible and work nights and weekends, holidays, or remotely because that’s what our clients sometimes need. But this doesn't happen often.

What are your key responsibilities?
• Work with the customer to determine the optimal system and equipment to meet their needs.
• Install and test the operations of all equipment to ensure proper functionality and signal reception required to establish service.
• Evaluate the information provided and work with the customer to provide the best possible solution for their location.
• Identify opportunities to improve the use and functionality of the customer's system and provide those recommendations.
• Pursue safety practices to safeguard against injury and damage to property.
• Assure against losing unused materials, ladders, and tools on a job site or office location.
• Collect all debris, patch any holes, and clean the site, leaving it as nice or in better condition than when started.
• And any other duties needed to help drive our vision, fulfill our mission, and abide by our organization’s values.
Essential Duties
• Drill holes for wiring in wall studs, joists, ceilings, floors, and other areas as required.
• Examine systems to locate problems such as loose connections or broken insulation.
• Feed cables through access holes, roof spaces, and cavity walls to reach fixture outlets, then position and terminate cables, wires, and strapping.
• Inspect installation sites and study work orders, building plans, and installation manuals to determine whether materials requirements and installation procedures have been met.
• Install, maintain, or repair security systems, alarm devices, and related equipment, following blueprints of electrical layouts and building plans.
• Mount and fasten control panels, door and window contacts, sensors, and video cameras, and attach electrical and telephone wiring in order to connect components.
• Mount raceways and conduits, and fasten wires to wood framing, using staplers.
• Test and repair circuits and sensors, following wiring and system specifications.
• Test backup batteries, keypad programming, sirens, and all security features in order to ensure proper functioning and to diagnose malfunctions.
• Keep informed of new products and developments. Request orders for replacement parts.
• Performs a variety of marginal duties not listed, to be determined and assigned as needed.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and network-related problems encountered by end-users of the network. Have a clear understanding of IPV4 and how to assign an IP address to a computer.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Personal protective and safety equipment is required, including but not limited to hard hats, safety glasses, high-visibility clothing, fall protection, and closed-toe shoes.

Schedule and salary:
- Paid according to experience.
- 30-40 expected hours a week.
