As the senior member of the landscape architecture team, you will support a wide variety of private sector development projects, with some municipal work included. This role will contribute to the overall growth of the landscape architecture service line by bringing strong experience with project management, guiding clients through all project phases, and the ability to mentor and provide technical guidance to junior-level staff.

Responsibilities Overview:
- Develop and manage project scopes, schedules, and budgets for land design, landscape architecture, and land planning.
- Manage relations with clients and contractors, providing direction and service-oriented problem solving.
- Oversee the preparation of landscape architectural drawing for all phases on projects of various sizes.
- Create and conduct project plan presentations to client representatives.
- Participate in site analysis, concept development, and prepare construction details and plan documents.
- Mentor junior staff and provide guidance on technical specifications and the application of landscape architecture standards and guidelines.
- Participate in marketing efforts including proposal development, interview participation and presentations (including proposal writing and scope and fee negotiation).
This role will spend the majority of the time onsite at our office in Milwaukee, with some travel to client and project sites within the Greater Milwaukee / Southeastern WI area.
Requirements:
- 5 – 15 years of experience managing landscape architecture and land planning projects for development sites
- Degree in Landscape Architecture or Planning preferred
- Wisconsin Landscape Architecture license or the ability to acquire this is preferred
- Experience with landscape design on site development projects
- Experience with land planning for public and private entities
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design and rendering software
- Strong communication and management skills
- Project management experience –– creating the scope, schedule, budget, and oversight of project lifecycle from design to conception to installation
- Maintaining existing client relationships and developing new clients
