Based out of Longview, Texas - Start Date mid-September
Open ended hours (1st shift) + per diem while on the road.

Pay 23-30 50% MU Drug and Background required
- One-time mobilization payment of $1000 less applicable payroll taxes
- One-time de-mobilization payment of $1000 less applicable payroll taxes.
- $125 per week completion bonus paid if employee fulfills the seasonal term.
- $155 per day per diem to cover lodging/meals/incidentals (Vinson will cover full lodging expense and pay meals and incidentals when deployed away from the shop, employee will be required to cover costs and submit an expense report to recuperate expenses weekly)
- Minimum of 40 hours/week guaranteed. Employee should expect 55-65 hours/week while deployed away from the shop.
- Overtime paid I/A/W the Vinson overtime policy.
- Employee will be provided and basic set of tools.
No minimum nor maximum amount of work is promised nor guaranteed. Seasonality may
vary, however we are targeting a minimum of 5 months or 20 weeks of work annually,
during the Spring and Fall outage seasons.
Duties:
- Maintenance, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of valves, pressure relief valves and electric actuators (480v) as well as measurement and valve related instruments. Including, but not limited to:
- Assembly of new equipment or repaired equipment.
- Documentation of repair / testing / assembly activities – cause of failure, actions taken, parts used, labor hours, etc.
- Customer communication – technical assistance, troubleshooting, quoting / determining disposition of repairs.
- Participation in field and shop service calls, as required.
- Disassembly, cleanup, and evaluation of parts
- Research and develop required parts list for Insides Sales to quote repair.
- Sandblast and paint when required.
- Coordinate repairs based upon requirements from the customer and Vinson scheduling.
- Fill out comprehensive repair reports describing the “As Found” condition, recommended repairs, etc.
- Recognize, pursue, and secure opportunities to increase the scope of work and products sold when ever possible.
- Adherence to all safety, quality, company rules and regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Most overtime occurs in the Spring and the Fall (approx. Feb 15-May 15 and Sept. 15-Dec. 1), so available PTO will be limited, if allowed at all, during those times.

- Education, Skills and/or Experience: Technical degree or a minimum of two (2) years “hands on” experience with at least one of the following: Control Valves, Isolation Valves, Safety Relief Valves, Electric Actuators (aka MOV’s)
- Good Mechanical Intuition
- Precision Millwright and/or Electrical background is a significant plus.
- Self-motivated and able to thrive without daily direction from supervisor.

- Ability to thrive in high pressure situations.
