We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Technical Business Analyst to join our dynamic team in the Financial Services sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical business analysis, exceptional skills in SQL and Excel, and a deep understanding of the financial services industry. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders, including users and business leaders, to understand their needs and gather detailed requirements.
- Functional Specifications: Develop and document comprehensive functional specifications that clearly define business requirements and technical solutions.
- Data Analysis: Utilize SQL to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from various sources. Employ advanced Excel techniques, including formulas and pivot tables, to perform in-depth data analysis and reporting.
- Solution Design: Work with technical teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions and ensure that they are implemented effectively.
- Reporting: Create and maintain reports and dashboards to track key metrics, provide insights, and support decision-making processes.
- Testing: Assist in the development and execution of test plans to ensure that solutions meet business needs and perform as expected.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and suggest enhancements to current systems and processes.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5-8 years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst with a proven track record in the Financial Services industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in writing SQL queries and analyzing data. Advanced skills in Excel, including the use of formulas and pivot tables.
- Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Documentation: Experience in writing clear and concise functional specifications and documentation.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the Financial Services industry, including relevant regulations, processes, and standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with data visualization tools and reporting platforms.
- Knowledge of additional programming languages or data analysis tools.
