Our client is looking to bring on a Support Center Technician to replace a current resource that has moved to a different team to assist with desktop support. This person will join his team of 4 to assist with a project to deploy 700+ replacement machines across North America. This individual will be working closely with Desktop Specialists on the project while the other desktop techs will be more focused on operational responsibilities. Here, they will be assisting with imaging, data migration, and shipping/asset management processes, while tracking all the required data needed to close the project afterward in Excel. These computers are being replaced across their warehouses, plants, and corporate offices, and they will not have to travel or set up workstations. We are looking for someone with 1-3 years of hardware support/asset management experience who does well with repetitive tasks and could have the opportunity to step into other areas once the project is completed. For this replacement project, you will not be responsible for any troubleshooting. It will also be important that they are okay being on their feet a lot and sometimes moving heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs.)
Top Skills:
