A global manufacturing company is seeking an Environmental Specialist, to support the environmental function, for their key site in the Jefferson City, MO area. The Environmental Specialist will help drive environmental compliance and best practices at the site, working for a global and industry-leading company, with great progression opportunities long-term
The Role:
- Lead continuous improvement efforts for the company's environmental programs, policies and procedures
- Develop environmental policies and procedures including storm and wastewater reporting, hazardous waste, and air permitting (Title V)
- Supports company interface with regulatory authorities for regulatory visits, requests, and submissions for the region.
- Accountable for managing site Environmental documentation to include program design, Environmental data collection and posting, training documentation, and Environmental KPI reports.
The Candidate:
- 2+ years of Environmental experience within a manufacturing environment
- B.S. in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related technical field
- Demonstrated success implementing and overseeing environmental programs and systems
