Come join our Tulsa team at a leading company specializing in the manufacturing of wastewater meters and sensors. Our products improve the management of water and wastewater systems, promoting greater sustainability. We are seeking a motivated Product Engineer to become a valued member of our team. In this role, you'll handle the assembly, testing, and inventory management of our wastewater meters while also focusing on firmware development and optimization. You will provide technical support to customers and troubleshoot issues as they arise. A strong background in electronics, along with coding expertise, is crucial for success in this position.
Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Location: ON-SITE at Tulsa office (this is NOT a remote position)
Pay: $55k-$75k BOE + bonus potential + excellent benefits (Direct Hire)
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and test wastewater meters to ensure high performance and quality.
- Manage component and finished product inventory using Fishbowl software.
- Develop and test firmware for our meters (currently in C++ and Assembly) to ensure reliable and accurate operation.
- Troubleshoot and debug hardware and firmware issues to provide solutions for customer concerns.
- Work closely with other teams to enhance product features and performance.
- Maintain detailed documentation for assembly procedures, testing processes, and firmware updates.
- Design and integrate IoT cellular communication solutions for meter applications.
- Ensure all products comply with water quality industry standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience in firmware development and testing.
- Hands-on experience with electronics assembly, including soldering and circuit testing.
- Experience with embedded systems and microcontroller programming.
- Knowledge of sensor integration and calibration.
- Skilled in using testing equipment like oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers.
- Familiarity with communication protocols (e.g., Serial, IoT).
- Familiarity with water treatment and wastewater management is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with great attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
