Emerge is seeking an insurance professional with experience in commercial insurance and loss control to join their client's team!
The Commercial Loss Control Assistant supports the Loss Control Department by aiding in scheduling, conducting telephonic surveys, coordinating inspections, and maintaining accurate records of assignments and recommendations. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Loss Control Director with scheduling tasks.
- Conduct telephonic loss control surveys for various occupancies as needed.
- Coordinate and request loss control inspections with existing vendors.
- Keep track of the current status of open field loss control assignments.
- Document completed loss control surveys and escalate concerns to the Loss Control Director for recommendations.
- Prepare and distribute recommendation letters to agents.
- Assist in following up on outstanding loss control recommendations and policy subjectivities.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of commercial lines insurance and coverages.
- Knowledge of loss control best practices as it relates to property and casualty
- Communication, interpersonal, phone etiquette skills
