Required Experience:
Candidates must have a proven track record of leading and successfully completing projects valued at $15M+ within various market sectors for a General Contractor, including:
- Multifamily: Highrise, Podium, Wrap, Garden styles
- Commercial: Office buildings, hospitality, mixed-use developments, retail spaces
- Government: Projects involving municipal, federal, and city facilities
- Healthcare: Clinics, surgery centers, medical office buildings
- Education: Projects in student housing, universities, and public/private schools
- Community: Libraries, recreation centers, country clubs, sustainability projects, green initiatives
- Light Industrial: Warehouse distribution centers, automated storage retrieval systems (ASRS), manufacturing facilities, technical data centers
- Aviation: Projects with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, hangars, pre-engineered metal buildings (PEMB), baggage handling systems, aerospace, defense projects
Role Summary:
The Project Manager will report directly to the Construction Manager and is primarily responsible for the successful execution of assigned projects. This role emphasizes budgeting, planning, scheduling, quality control, and maintaining strong relationships with owners, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the project team to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget, meeting all specified targets and standards.
- Facilitate project meetings involving staff, owners, architects, and trade partners to ensure clear communication and project alignment.
- Timely preparation of contracts and change orders.
- Produce and discuss monthly variance cost/budget reports with the management team.
- Supervise all construction phases, ensuring adherence to safety standards, staffing requirements, and contract specifications.
Candidate Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Project Manger with a General Contractor
- Demonstrated capability in managing projects with values ranging from $15M - $40M
