Electrical Control Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, program, develop, and supervise the construction and testing of electrical control systems, equipment, and machinery.
- Provide startup and technical support for hardware and software.
- Develop and maintain automation products and projects, including coding in Ladder Logic, Structured Text, and Function Block Diagrams.
- Create user interfaces, acceptance and commissioning procedures, automation documentation, project documentation, and manage revision control.
Entry-Level Expectations:
- Ability to learn or write PLC software and contribute to the Controls Group.
Mid to Senior-Level Expectations:
- Extensive programming experience and ability to develop PLC software and contribute to the Controls Group.
Education and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electrical or Automation Technology, or EE Engineering Technology.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Demonstrated ability to work with a broad team of engineers, marketing, and sales.
- Creativity and willingness to learn and grow.
- Ability to support and enhance the creativity of others.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Rockwell Software, Siemens, Phoenix Contact, Modicon.
- Testing and commissioning experience.
- Previous experience is a plus.
