Job Title: Vehicle Testing Engineer

Job Summary: As a Vehicle Testing Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and communicating updated testing requirements, tracking and monitoring testing performance, and managing vehicle complaints. This role requires a strong automotive background, technical expertise, and excellent problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and share required testing information with all test locations.
- Participate in meetings with Engineers, Station Coordinators, and Driver Coordinators to address testing needs.
- Provide updated testing requirements to Station Coordinators and Driver Coordinators.
- Facilitate communication between Location Coordinators and Driver Coordinators and the Testing and Engineering Specialist.
- Write and manage vehicle complaints, ensuring all necessary attachments are included.
- Monitor and address vehicle complaints within the ticket reporting system.
- Ensure all necessary testing information follows vehicle rotations to other testing stations.
- Coordinate vehicle scheduling as required.
- Ensure special tests requests are available and properly equipped for each vehicle.
- Spend time in test vehicles to thoroughly understand all vehicle systems.
- Maintain and modify special testing instructions as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3+ years of job-related experience in automotive and technical fields.
- Technical training in vehicle testing or engineering.
- Experience in an engineering-level vehicle testing or manufacturing environment.
Skills:
- Analytical and conceptual thinking – using logic and reason, creative and strategic.
- Excellent communication skills – interpersonal, presentation, and written.
- Proficient in the use of software/engineering tools (ALPOS, ATP, VDS).
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Applications.
- Strong problem-solving and resource management skills.
- Positive employee relations and team-building capabilities.
- Self-organized with the ability to maintain a clean work environment.
- Environmental knowledge and reporting structure.
Specialized Skills:
- Knowledge of current and future vehicles/systems, specifically in the areas of ADAS and electronics.
- Database maintenance and updates.
- Project management experience.
- Detailed reporting competencies at an engineering level.
- German language skills are a plus.
