Salary: $100,000-$135,000 + 15% bonus

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electromechanical equipment and systems for automation of industrial tasks.
- Create and maintain mechanical design documentation for parts, assemblies, and final products.
- Review and optimize production layouts and material presentation strategies to enhance manufacturing flow and reduce waste.
- Recommend and implement design or process changes to improve efficiency, quality, and performance.
- Evaluate new product designs for manufacturability and cost-effectiveness, initiating necessary changes before pre-production sign-off.
- Implement and test design solutions, ensuring they meet performance and quality standards.
- Prepare and publish engineering reports detailing design specifications and qualification test results.
- Provide cost estimates for process improvements, new products, and significant product modifications.
- Specify and procure tools, fixtures, equipment, and training needed for production and testing.
- Investigate and implement new process control strategies, machine tool innovations, and plant layout improvements to enhance production efficiency.
- Evaluate supplier capabilities, recommend new manufacturing methodologies, and advise on equipment investments.
- Drive quality improvement and cost reduction initiatives for assigned products, sharing responsibility for departmental goals.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to minimize waste, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
