Role: Senior Security Engineer
Location: New York - Hybrid on-site model
My client is looking to make their first hire within security to help protect the platform as they scale. This is a very important role and will give you the chance to work with the leadership, software and product team closely in their office.
Some of the responsibilities will be:
- Security Design: Architect secure systems for blockchain, dApps, and crypto wallets, ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct security scans, penetration tests, and manage vulnerability mitigation.
- Incident Management: Develop response plans, lead breach investigations, and coordinate resolutions.
- Risk Mitigation: Analyze and reduce security risks, ensuring compliance with standards.
- Best Practices: Enforce security practices, and provide training across the organization.
- Blockchain Security: Address unique challenges, ensuring transaction and data integrity.
- Team Collaboration: Integrate security with development, infrastructure, and product teams.
- Research: Stay updated on threats and innovate security measures.
