You'll play a key role as the primary owner of all technical aspects of a project within a leading & rapidly expanding international provider of AV & Video technology solutions. Taking a leading role as project engineer, you’ll also oversee and refine project bills of materials, ensuring that all parts will create a fully functional system as specified. You’ll also be proficient in communicating infrastructure & architectural requirements as well as working closely with CAD teams to develop AV construction drawings, system flows, cable/conduit risers, and product detail pages.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead all technical aspects of a project post-handover from sales teams
- Review and adjust project SOWs and technical drawings as needed
- Develop and refine AV construction drawings and Bills of Material
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure successful installations
- Provide technical support and documentation to project managers and end-users
- Conduct functional QC of systems before shipment
- Test and validate new hardware or use cases
- Communicate system implementation plans and networking needs to relevant teams
What you’ll bring to the role:
- 7+ years of experience in design and project engineering
- Relevant certifications: AVIXA CTS-D/I, Tesira Forte + Server, Q-SYS Designer, Dante Level 1 + 2
- Skills in commercial building construction and Bluebeam review/editing
- Advanced technical knowledge of AV products and infrastructure
- Proficient in understanding and utilizing project technical documents
- Strong understanding of AV-related networking
- Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to travel to customer sites and manage staff workload according to project needs
