Optomi, in partnership with a leader in the Financial Services industry, is seeking an experienced ServiceNow professional for an Associate Director position.

- Join a diverse and collaborative Enterprise Intelligence team, protecting the financial services industry and serving both internal and external clients.
- You will play a crucial role in ServiceNow discovery and asset management, modernizing how configuration items and their relationships are handled.
- Utilize your experience, communication, and problem-solving skills to maintain an accurate and reliable CMDB, providing support and integration for ServiceNow discovery data.
- Lead the enhancement and configuration of discovery patterns and data sources in our hybrid environment.
- Collaborate across business and technology services to drive discovery remediation, troubleshoot issues, and communicate solutions to senior stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategy and design of ServiceNow ITOM, focusing on discovery data integration into the CMDB.
- Collaborate with Product Management and ServiceNow leadership to drive new ITOM capabilities.
- Integrate additional data sources into the CMDB.
- Work across business and technology services to mature the CMDB.
- Serve as a key SME for company-wide and IT initiatives impacting the CMDB.
- Communicate discovery changes affecting SACM data or processes.
- Stay current on ServiceNow products and relevant discovery and integration technologies.
- Support, enhance, and develop discovery patterns for on-premise and cloud infrastructure.
- Drive discovery remediations and troubleshooting efforts, providing visibility to performance and issues.
- Provide direction and support to junior team members, ensuring risk mitigation and ethical behavior.
Ideal Qualifications
- 8+ years' experience architecting and implementing ServiceNow ITOM capabilities at multiple organizations
- Proven track record of maintaining and enhancing existing ServiceNow discovery
- Experience with initial deployment(s) of ServiceNow discovery
- Experience with discovery in a hybrid environment
- SME-level understanding of ServiceNow CMDB hierarchy
- Familiarity with Common Service Data Model (CSDM)
- Familiarity with Service Mapping is a plus
- ITIL certified (Foundation v3 or v4)
- ServiceNow Discovery certification
- Experience in a regulated industry is a plus
- Preferred certifications
- Experience with AWS
