Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Healthcare Superintendent to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working on healthcare projects, particularly with Mount Sinai, Lenox Hill, and NYC Health facilities. The Healthcare Superintendent will oversee all aspects of project execution, ensuring that timelines are met, budgets are adhered to, and the highest standards of quality and safety are maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Oversee the daily operations of healthcare construction projects, including scheduling, coordination, and supervision of subcontractors and trades.
- Quality Control: Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards, complying with healthcare regulations and specifications.
- Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and internal teams.
- Problem Solving: Quickly and effectively resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the construction process.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including schedules, daily reports, and change orders.
- Safety Management: Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and procedures on all job sites.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Superintendent in the healthcare construction sector, particularly with projects involving Mount Sinai, Lenox Hill, and NYC Health.
- Strong understanding of healthcare construction standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and other relevant tools.
