Company Profile: Supplier of enriched uranium fuel for nuclear power plants.
Position Open: Mechanical Engineer I
This is a key player on the engineering team that will be responsible for the stable and efficient operation of the plant. Some key duties include:
• Assists in the management, supervision or performance of planning, designing, constructing and/or maintaining structures, facilities and systems.
• Track and trend assigned plant systems by review of operating logs and corrective/preventative maintenance.
• May coordinate the work of technical support employee or design engineer who assists in troubleshooting and repair of equipment and systems, modifications or adjustments to eliminate malfunctions.
Location: Piketon, OH. On site.
Compensation: Confidential search but we expect a starting base of $85K or more
The Fit: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering is required for this opening. 1-2 years of applied mechanical engineering skill is ideal but not required. Some of this can come from related industry internships.
