Senior Estimator - Water/Wastewater Infrastructure

AGS Associates is representing a national water and wastewater infrastructure contractor seeking a Senior Estimator to lead projects across California. In this role, you will be integral to the pre-construction process, providing precise and competitive cost estimates that align with project goals and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to develop and refine project scopes and budgets.
- Evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids for completeness and accuracy.
- Identify and assess potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits to gather necessary information for accurate estimating.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and best practices.
- Assist in the development and refinement of estimating processes and tools.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in estimating, specifically in water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
