We are looking for an Assistant Project Manager to manage all aspects of our projects construction process.
Position Overview: As an Assistant Project Manager, you will oversee the successful execution of commercial glazing projects from start to finish.

- Experience: Proven track record in project management within the commercial industry.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and resolve challenges proactively.
- Leadership Abilities: Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams, manage resources efficiently, and drive project performance.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Responsible for the execution of contract scope of work on projects within the allotted budget and schedule
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to understand project requirements
- Constant awareness of job completion status for monthly billing
- Make sure submittals and shop drawings are accurate and timely
- Effectively communicate with foreman and team members regarding project materials and installation.
- Schedule delivery of material to the job site in a logical manner that best utilizes labor force and available space on the project.
- Responsible for purchase orders for glass and aluminum materials and communicating with vendors.
- Actively communicate with job superintendents and project managers to verify job conditions and project schedule prior to starting the job.
- Attend job meetings and coordinate project installation with the field supervisor.
- Track progress of job in relation to estimated labor and materials versus actual material and labor.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Knowledge of commercial construction practices.
- Good communication skills and sales ability.
- Proficient at understanding and translating construction plans, drawings and specifications and generating accurate take-offs and estimates
- Excellent math, formulation and configuration skills
- Keen attention to detail, organization and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Ability to handle multiple projects at one time
