The Solutions Architect is recognized as a master within the IAM discipline and will possess extensive experience in building robust solutions and strong collaboration, design, and negotiation skills to align technology solutions with business objectives. The IAM landscape includes: Identity lifecycle management, access management, authentication, authorization, and privileged access management, etc.
This role evaluates current systems and applies technical proficiency, creativity, and collaboration to recommend enhancements to existing solutions while ensuring flexibility, resilience, scalability, and high performance.

NOTE: This is a 6-month Contract-To-Hire (DO NOT apply if you're not willing and able to consider FTE conversion sometime in 2025 should both sides determine there's a long-term fit - U.S. Citizen and GC only).
MUST be local to Greater Salt Lake City, UT
EXPERIENCE:
- 6+ years of experience in IAM solutions design and implementation.
- 3 years as a solutions architect role, with a focus on IAM solutions or 8 years in a technical leadership role (e.g., technical lead, principal engineer).
- Expertise in IAM technologies and standards such as SSO, SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, LDAP, and Active Directory.
- Experience with IAM platforms such as Okta, Ping Identity, SailPoint, CyberArk, or similar.
- Familiarity with cloud-based IAM solutions (e.g., AWS IAM, Azure AD).
- Experience with role-based access control (RBAC) and attribute-based access control (ABAC) models. Proven experience in designing high-resiliency solutions, focusing on performance testing, fault tolerance, and scalability.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Certifications in relevant IAM technologies (e.g., Certified Identity and Access Manager, CISSP, CISM).
- Experience with identity governance and administration (IGA) solutions.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, and SOX.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices integrating IAM into CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with tools such as Jira and Confluence.
