Key Responsibilities

Security Management: Develop and manage security best practices; ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
System Development and Maintenance: Develop and install cloud and cybersecurity systems; assist with IT projects like system upgrades and migrations.
Incident Response: Respond to and resolve system and network incidents; manage system backups and data integrity.
Active Directory Management: Manage and maintain user accounts, group policies, and system security.
Performance Monitoring: Ensure server performance, availability, and reliability; monitor and maintain system security.
Documentation: Prepare and maintain system and cybersecurity documentation; educate IT staff on policies and security.
Collaboration: Work with IT team members and stakeholders; manage virtualization and cloud services.
Risk Management: Develop risk analysis and security reporting; evaluate cybersecurity tools and infrastructure.

Requirements

Experience:

4+ years in IT and security work with systems analysis.
4+ years in information technology security.
4+ years with firewall policies and implementation.
2+ years in cloud computing and security.

Knowledge:

Security issues and techniques across computer platforms.
NIST Cybersecurity Framework and MITRE framework.

Certification:

CJIS certification (or ability to obtain).

Education

Degree: Associate’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related field.
Substitution: Relevant experience or additional education may substitute for degree requirements.
