Project Engineer

They are seeking a Project Engineer. This candidate will offer expert technical support and direction across all stages of designated engineering projects. Under moderate supervision, the role involves project management, strategic planning, contract evaluation, and collaboration with site leaders.

Focus:
- Investigate, review, and develop recommendations for engineering projects.
- Serve as technical advisor for small-to-medium construction, expansion, or modification projects.
- Evaluate and manage contracts with vendors for services and equipment.
- Engage in strategic planning and budgeting activities for assigned engineering sectors at the site.
- Assist in developing and evaluating Appropriation Requests (AR) for capital funding.
- Address complex issues and implement solutions through strategy determination and delegation.
- Collaborate with managers and site leaders, with some interaction with external colleagues.
- Manage specific programs or projects and may supervise team members.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Skill Set:
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field with at least three (3) years of relevant experience, OR
- Hold a Master's degree in an Engineering field with a minimum of two (2) years of pertinent experience.
- Communicate effectively in English regarding job assignments, procedures, and safety standards.
