Position includes identifying issue early with digital and/or physical tests, and leading cross function teams to resolve cross system issues.

For this particular assignment, candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
This role is onsite in Dearborn, with frequent travel to Romeo likely required.
Pay: $32.00-$38.00 per hour. Benefits, 401k, and time off available.
Position Duties
- Lead vehicle program team to meet water management (WM) requirements such as water wading, car wash, water run-off, under hood water management and so on.
- Conduct CAD checks to ensure early design meet the water management requirements.
- Conduct vehicle level tests to sign off vehicle programs during vehicle prototype phase.
- Lead cross functional team to resolve issues identified during CAD checks or physical tests.
- Present attribute status at vehicle program milestones.
- Identify root cause and resolve water related quality issues.
- Understand customer's expectation, document lesson learned, improve process and revise requirements as needed.
Requirements
- Have 2-5 years of automotive engineering experience including internship.
- Have passion for cars and/or trucks; understand how car and truck systems work.
- Demonstrated strong leadership and able to independently handle complex issue and make quick decisions.
- Able to handle multiple tasks and understand priority.
- Excellent communication skill and able to put presentation quickly to demonstrate main points.
Education Required:
- A Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering with minimum GPA of 3.0 is required.
