Assistant Superintendent
Scott Humphrey has partnered with an important client in the Construction field looking for an Assistant Superintendent who will be an integral part of a team that oversees the construction of Multifamily projects. They will be responsible for project quality control, subcontractor coordination, daily logs/project documentation, safety, and inspections.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee daily subcontractor project assignments
- Ensure a safe workplace that meets company standards and OSHA requirements
- Schedule and monitor material deliveries
- Perform daily quality control walks
- Create punch lists for trades on each phase of construction
- Organize city inspections
- Maintain job site paperwork: daily reports, material order and delivery, employee safety certifications
- Effectively collaborate with clients and other team members, engineers, architects, inspectors, and city officials
- Attend project status meetings and assist in problem solving efforts.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent from accredited institution
- 3-5+ years' experience as an Assistant Superintendent within Multifamily Construction
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes
- Superior communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and construction management software such as Procore, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, and/or Microsoft Project
