Senior Environmental Specialist

This innovative company is seeking a Senior Environmental Specialist. In this role, you'll lead a variety of environmental tasks, from environmental impact assessments to pollution prevention and remediation planning. With your expertise, you'll coordinate with regulatory agencies and stakeholders, supervise project plans, and mentor junior staff. The candidate's contributions will span small-scale environmental assessments to large-scale ecosystem restoration projects, fostering growth and excellence within the team.

Focus:
- Lead environmental impact assessments, pollution prevention planning, and remediation strategies
- Coordinate project submissions with regulatory agencies and stakeholders
- Conduct site investigations and document environmental conditions
- Review and prepare environmental studies, reports, and recommendations
- Oversee environmental management plans and sustainability initiatives
- Provide solutions for environmental issues during project implementation
- Manage projects ranging from small assessments to large-scale restorations
- Pursue new business opportunities and maintain client relationships
- Contribute to proposal preparation and represent the firm at industry functions
- Mentor junior environmental staff.
Skill Set:
- B.S. in Environmental Engineering or related field
- 10+ years of experience in environmental engineering/science
- Professional Environmental Engineer (P.E.) license or relevant certifications
- Proven mentorship and team leadership abilities
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance
- Proficiency in environmental modeling and assessment software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with GIS and environmental data management systems.
