Program Manager to provide external program management support for multiple Network Security initiatives.
Location: Hybrid – 2/3 days a week on site (Manhattan, NY)
Duration: 18 Months
Position Overview:
Consultant shall provide services to Client’s Enterprise Security Platforms (ESP), Network Security Fleet. This is a global fleet responsible for the designing, engineering & operating cyber security controls at the network layer to protect the Firm from internal & external cyber-attacks.
- Responsibilities of the include:Project Planning and PM support for key fleet initiatives
- Ensure timely status reporting from SDM’s and PM’s on a weekly and monthly basis. Ability to read/understand the status reports and highlight any issues, collaborating with Product Owners and Engineers
- JIRA dashboards/updates/reporting
- Overall PM support for key, strategic initiatives
- Project Planning for strategic initiatives: Creation of project plans inclusive of business case, cost estimates, timeline, risk, dependencies, and Jira creation/management.
- Communication plan and creation of the supporting artifacts inclusive of executive briefings, roadshows, Jive Site, metrics, and various other status updates.
- Procurement Support
- Attendance at client project meetings as requested.
Qualifications:
- PMP Certification or SAFe® (SPC) 6.0 Certification with strong technical Project Management/Program Mgmt Skills (10+ years)
- Exceptional Excel, PowerPoint, and PowerBI skills
- Solid technical knowledge that will enable this person to work alongside Engineers.
- Knowledge of Client Tools such as iDesigner, Jira, Service Now, and Change Control Processes preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills coupled with a collaborative approach.
- Good data networking knowledge
- Basic knowledge of information security, such as IAM, DLP, Crypto etc.
