Co. is a leader in short run metal stamped parts as a job-shop manufacturer we produce thousands of parts to various specifications in almost every industry imaginable.
We are seeking a meticulous and self-motivated Quality Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our Quality Management System including Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Compliance. In this role you will develop our Quality Management System to be more encompassing of all processes within Phoenix, and more pro-active in identifying and eliminating risk. As one of the first AS9100 certified companies in the US, Phoenix Specialty has a robust Quality Management System built over several decades. Our long tenured manager is retiring, and we are looking for the right individual to take our QMS to the next level!
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
You will have direct experience in both Quality Control and Quality Assurance aspects of AS9100, in addition to experience complying with ITAR, FARs, Export-control, and other regulatory requirements. Experience partnering with Engineering and Operations in risk mitigation and process improvement is a huge plus! Phoenix Specialty is a contract manufacturer of specialty stamped parts; direct experience in a job-shop environment that has worked with metals and outside services and specifications is a must. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated the transformation of an existing Quality Management System into one that is more pro-active in the elimination of risk and implementation of improvements. We don’t need someone that can implement an initial AS9100 compliant system; we need an individual that can take an already-robust system and make it world class!
· High School Diploma or equivalent required.
· Higher education or equivalent professional accolades is a plus.
· Expertise in blueprint reading and interpretation, GD&T required.
