Akkodis is seeking a skilled Tier 3 Desktop Support Analyst to join our clients team in downtown Nashville for a 3-month contract-to-hire position, with the potential for conversion to a full-time role. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in both MacOS administration and Windows-based device support. This is an in-office position that requires strong troubleshooting skills, a customer-focused attitude, and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
Pay/Salary Range: $28-35/HR
Tier 3 Desktop Support responsibilities will include:
- Provide advanced technical support for MacOS and Windows-based devices, troubleshooting complex hardware and software issues.
- Administer and manage MacOS environments, including user accounts, system configurations, and software installations.
- Assist users with application support and integration on both Mac and Windows platforms.
- Maintain documentation of support processes, solutions, and best practices in the knowledge base.
- Collaborate with IT teams to identify and implement improvements to system performance and user experience.
- Perform regular system updates, patches, and maintenance to ensure optimal operation of all devices.
- Respond to and resolve escalated support tickets in a timely and efficient manner.
- Conduct training sessions and provide guidance to junior support staff as needed.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in desktop support or IT support roles, with a focus on MacOS and Windows environments.
- Strong proficiency in MacOS administration, including troubleshooting and configuration.
- Experience with Windows operating systems, including deployment and support.
- Familiarity with remote support tools and ticketing systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on customer service.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Apple Certified Support Professional, CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified) are a plus.
