The Role
Responsibilities:
- Proven experience as a Teradata Developer with a strong focus on regulatory reporting, specifically FR Y-14Q reporting.
- In-depth knowledge of Teradata SQL, BTEQ, FastLoad, MultiLoad, and Teradata Parallel Transporter (TPT).
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices, particularly in the context of regulatory reporting.
- Experience with ETL tools and processes, such as Informatica or Talend, for regulatory data integration.
- Should have the capability to understand requirements and convert to design
- Ability to coordinate with SMEs, stakeholders, manage timelines, escalation & provide on time status - strong project management skills as well
- Good knowledge in Teradata concepts and Logical/physical database design
- In-depth knowledge of Performance tuning and optimization to handle and process large volume of data in Teradata
- Experience in SQL programming (views/store procedures/macros/functions) based on User requirements and architectural guidelines and standards
- Good knowledge of BI/DW concepts
- In-depth knowledge of Performance tuning and optimization to handle and process large volume of data in Teradata
- Experience in SQL programming (views/store procedures/macros/functions) based on User requirements and architectural guidelines and standards
- Experience in writing Unix Shell scripting is a must
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution
Requirements:
You are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of [3] years of relevant experience in Teradata development with a focus on regulatory reporting.
