We're looking for 2x skilled Full Stack Software Engineers to join our client's innovative engineering team, developing solutions that push the boundaries of robotics in energy infrastructure.
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to dive deep into the world of robotics, working alongside a collaborative and interdisciplinary team. You'll be involved in designing, building, and testing applications that support both our internal operations and customer-facing platforms. This is a hybrid role, offering a mix of in-office collaboration and remote flexibility.
Your Role:
- Develop and maintain internal web applications that control robot operations, process data, and generate reports.
- Build customer-facing platforms for delivering insightful data and comprehensive reports.
- Integrate software systems with various hardware components.
- Design, implement, document, and rigorously test your code.
- Collaborate closely with engineers from diverse disciplines to foster an innovative culture.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of our software practices.
- Research and leverage existing software solutions to enhance our capabilities.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proficiency in front-end development (React, Redux, HTML, CSS).
- Strong back-end development skills (Python, Django/Flask, SQL).
- Solid understanding of algorithms and data structures.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Extra Points For:
- Experience working in a Linux environment, particularly Ubuntu.
- Familiarity with numerical computing libraries like NumPy.
- Knowledge of the Robot Operating System (ROS).
- Experience with MATLAB.
Location & Work Arrangement: This role is hybrid, requiring 2 days per week at the Marlborough, MA office (car required) or the Cambridge, MA office (Kendall Square), with the flexibility to work from home the remaining days.
