Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled SQL Database Designer to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in database design and SQL, with proficiency in SQL Server and experience working in a Microsoft Azure environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Database Design: Design and develop SQL databases to meet project requirements.
- Research: Spend approximately 35% of the time researching and analyzing the structure of the database and how various components interact.
- Execution: Execute and implement findings from research, accounting for 65% of the role.
- Dual Role: Identify areas for improvement within the database, then collaborate with the broader team to implement changes.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the development team, including regular handoffs and communication of findings and updates.
- Support: Provide ongoing support to ensure the successful implementation of changes.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in SQL and SQL Server
- Experience with Microsoft Azure
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Ability to execute and implement database changes effectively
- Collaborative mindset with strong communication skills
- Wealth Management Industry experience is a plus
